Looks like the brick count will be close - but I believe we will just have enough. The brick man should finish on Thursday. They have done an excellent job. I am well pleased.
My sheet rock man should be done around Friday. It is looking great as well.
You might remember that before Gustav, my wife and I had to pick up everything that could fly in the wind. We had the outside completely clean. You ought to see it now. Piles of sheetrock scrap - piles of mortar bags - and busted brick - everywhere! It will take an evening to get everything out of the way after they are done.
I will provide pics of the brick when it is done. I didn't see much point in taking more pics of it not quite finished.
You need Pawpaw (Steve's dad) to supervise - he was here when the sheetrock guys were here & they were making a BIG mess. He asked if they were going to clean it up & when they said no, he backed his truck up to the French door & told them to put the scraps in there! As far as our bricklayer went, we were so blessed - he left everything completely clean. It's still exciting to see all the progress!
