Technology can be a wonderful tool and budensome curse - all at the same time. Blogging has enabled me to communicate my thoughts - encouragement - life experiences - and frustrations for several years. Lately, my blogging has suffered the same fate as my tech - overload! Between facebook - email - smartphones - and life in general - I have reached my limits.
The first thing to go was direct tv! At this point, 2 months without Direct TV, I can say that I miss it very little. As a matter of fact, through internet streaming video, we have become much more intentional about what we watch and therefore, more satisfied. I am not overloading on news either, which was mostly all bad in the first place!
I am trying to consolidate my email to one device. I am tired of chasing it on the cellphone, home computer, work computer, and laptop! Too much! As a matter of fact, I am thinking about deleting all email programs from all but one computer!
Also, I am selling tech that I no longer use! No point in having it around collecting dust.
Finally, I am not sure very many people read blogs anymore. I'm sure some do - just not sure I want to produce them anymore! I will get back to you on that!
