Following yesterday's morning and evening services, I have been reminded that only a move of God is required, only a move of God is needed, and only a move of God will fix what is broken in our churches. We can analyze all the data we want, we can try to assign blame wherever we think the data points, we can talk and talk and study and study, but ultimately, the church is not a business that can adopt a new model, it is not a group in search of a new program to solve its ills - it is a living organism of the Lord Jesus Christ! Christ is the head, and He will not share His glory with anyone! And He is the only who can build His church - a Kingdom church. Read the scriptures - it is all in there!
The only thing we can do is surrender our will to His! Jesus said this - "9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love." John 15:9-10
How do we know that we abide in His love? By obeying Him! A total devotion to Christ that results in transformed lives through obedience is the only path for the church.
Yesterday we saw a move of God in the morning and evening services that will do more good than all the analysis in the world! Praise the Lord!
